Integrating Competencies and Soft Skills into Education
Dr Nadia Gulko from the Department of Accountancy, Finance, and Economics recently had the pleasure of welcoming Anna Howard from the AICPA and CIMA (USA) to Lincoln International Business School to deliver a talk, “Integrating Competencies and Soft Skills into Education”.
The event commenced with a Q+A session followed by an open conversation with colleagues on the following topics:
-Competencies and soft skills essential for accounting and business professionals to develop
-Evolving expectations of the accounting industry regarding competencies and soft skills
-Empowering students to become creative graduates with global, inclusive mindsets, a strong sense of personal and social responsibility
-Integrating skills development into education and what an effective integration means
-Classroom resources for educators
-Challenges and opportunities in the future of accounting and business education
