Minerva Building Touch-Down Space

posted by Hannah McGowan | 25/08/2023

Due to the increase in the number of international students on campus this year, and to support the enrolment process for us to welcome new students to our University community, additional space for this will be temporarily provided within the Minerva Building. The use of this space will ensure a good student experience and logistical flow through the building at one of the busiest times of the academic year.

The Professional Services (PS) touch-down office in the Minerva Building (MB2101) will be temporarily suspended from Monday 11 September to Tuesday 24 October inclusive.

To provide continued support to PS colleagues during this period, a temporary alternative is to be made available. Centrally located at the Brayford Pool Campus, two rooms on the first floor of Village Hall will be allocated as touch-down spaces. VH1001 and VH1002 each have six desks with monitors and will be available on a first-come-first-served basis.  In addition, the 12 desks remain available for PS touch-down on the ground floor of Charlotte Scott Building.
