Interdisciplinary Fund Granted to the University of Lincoln

Dr Redouane Sarrakh, Dr Antony Daniels and Dr Geeta Lakshmi (CoASSH) and Prof Joe Howe (CoHS) have been awarded £80,859 to work with CATCH (industry led partnership supporting the process, energy, engineering and renewable industries in the Humber region) to help develop work skills for the future amongst the young, in green industry.

This funding is part of the Industrial Decarbonisation Research and Innovation Centre (IDRIC) Flex fund awarded in 2023. IDRIC funds research and innovation, through the UKRI and Innovate UK (lead), Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council to support decarbonisation and achieve Net Zero in the industrial heartlands.

The project is well on its way and preliminary results will be disseminated in January 2024 to IDRIC in the interim.
