This free online talk by Dr Alice Crossley (Senior Lecturer in English Literature) provides a timely assessment of historic practices of valentines production and exchange across the long nineteenth century. Everyone is welcome to attend the event, to learn about the sweet and salty sides of the valentine as we approach February 14th!
