Decolonisation and Higher Education: Beyond the Myths

 posted by | 16/02/2024

This session aims to cut through some of the noise surrounding the often-controversial place of decolonisation in higher education. Using examples from across the sector, the session helps demonstrates the value of decolonial approaches for colleagues working in roles across the University and the ways in which decolonisation can supplement and extend our existing work on equality, inclusivity, internationalisation and institutional culture. There will also be lots of opportunities to ask questions and share ideas.

Current available sessions:
Thursday 21 March – Online, via Teams – 13.00 – 14.30
Friday 31 May – Brayford Campus – 9.30am – 11.00am

Both sessions are bookable via MyView. A link to join the online session will be provided closer to the time.
