SDG Teach-In 2024

 posted by | 20/02/2024

The SDG Teach-In is nearly here! All throughout March when you touch on subjects relevant to any of the UN SDGs with students or colleagues you are contributing to the teach-in. Please highlight this to students and colleagues to help them to see how they are contributing to sustainability in their practice. You don’t have to be an expert to discuss the SDGs – so please don’t be nervous about bringing them into your conversations. As we are doing this for the first time at Lincoln we would love it if you could upload your ideas, plans and progress to this Padlet: https://lncn.ac/SDGTeachIn24 to share them with your colleagues. Please also log this with SOS UK (Students Organising for Sustainability) here: https://lncn.ac/SOSpledge who are collating pledges from across the UK. You can read about how much we are already doing for the SDGs here: https://www.lincoln.ac.uk/abouttheuniversity/sustainability/sdgreports/.

Please get in touch with any questions or ideas- the Education for Sustainable Development leads across the University are Libby John, Amir Badiee, Georgia Clay, Oorbessy Gaju, Yousef Ghorbani, Claire Lea, Wayne Martindale, Claire May, Jack Shelbourn and Alessia Vacca. We would love to hear from you. Or you could attend a drop-in session in person on Wednesday 28 February 12-14.30 MB 1104 (no need to book) or on Teams on Thursday 29 February 10.00 – 12.00 (just drop Libby a Teams message or email).
