 posted by

You are invited to join Professor Hanya Pielichaty for this public lecture to celebrate the publication of her latest book, Gender, Sport and Society: An Introduction, on Wednesday 20 March 2024.

The complex relationship between gender, sport and society will be examined closely, using props and visual aids to better understand why the current sporting landscape exists as it does.

Sports enthusiasts, University colleagues, students, and sports practitioners are all welcome to attend this free event, either face-to-face or online.

If you’re attending in person, the lecture will be held in LMS0008, Ross Lucas Medical Sciences Building from 5pm, with a drinks reception from 6pm until 7pm.
