The latest volume of the IMPact journal is now available to read: https://lalt.lincoln.ac.uk/impact-e-journal/volumes/

This student edition presents the student reports from the Student Futures Manifesto, a project developed by staff and students in partnership with the Students’ Union, to build a sense of a belonging at the University of Lincoln.

The University was one of 20 institutions to sign up to the UPP Foundation Student Futures Commission, and the student consultants (each paired with a member of staff) developed student manifestos committing to improvement in 6 overarching themes:

-Pathways to graduate outcomes
-Activities to build skills, networks, and communities
-Outline of the teaching students receive and the tools to access it
-Introduction to university life for each year of study
-Support for mental health and wellbeing
-Support for students before university

The manifesto is guided by these themes to best support students and develop provision for the future. In each report of the volume, the students provided recommendations, which represent the University’s commitment to contribute to the enhancement of wider student experiences and further build a sense of belonging and community at the University.
