E-reading and audiobooks for leisure and wellbeing

Libraries & Learning Skills have launched a collection of non-academic e-books and audiobooks that you can read or listen to via the handy Libby app!

You can find our collection at lncn.ac/Libby. Add your staff or student card at lncn.ac/addLibrary and download the Libby app from lncn.ac/GetLibby. You can add your Lincolnshire Libraries card too! Just as with a print book, through Libby you can ‘check out’ a title to read or, if someone else is reading it, place a reservation.

We’ve chosen titles on study tips, managing finances, neurodiversity, hobbies and crafts and much more including a smattering of poetry – all topics suggested by our students through the SU. We’ve also been working with PPC and hope to bring Staff Book Club titles to the app very soon, although there’s already a variety of fiction to browse plus titles available as audiobooks.

There’s plenty of room for more and we want to build a unique collection that reflects and appeals to our diverse staff and student body. If you’d like to get involved and suggest a book, or if you have a question for us, get in touch at library@lincoln.ac.uk, we’d love to hear from you.
