The University of Lincoln Undergraduate University Business Challenge (UBC) team successfully reached the final in St Andrews to compete against other university teams from across the UK at the end of March 2024.

The photo was taken at the semi-finals in London at the University of Westminster; to reach this stage, the team had to finish top of their table accumulating the most amount of profit over 6 trading periods. On the semi-final day, the team finished in the top 5 teams out of 15 to reach the final.

James Wright, senior lecturer and student engagement lead from Lincoln International Business school, is the team’s mentor and this is the first time the University of Lincoln has ever reached the undergraduate University Business Challenge final.

A huge thank you as well to Kathryn Lambert, skills co-ordinator from the careers & employability department for all of your help supporting the team and organising all of the logistics throughout.
