Ensuring our community feels safe and comfortable on campus is the highest priority for the University.

Campus is monitored and patrolled by University Security 24/7 and CCTV cameras cover the site extensively. CCTV is also monitored in both the Minerva Building and Joseph Banks Laboratories. Our CCTV policy can be found on the Estates website: https://estates.lincoln.ac.uk/cctv/.

What to do if you are feeling unsafe on campus

If for any reason you feel unsafe on campus, please go inside the nearest open building, position yourself close to a camera, and call University Security on 01522 886062. Staff and students are advised to save this number on their phones.

Student Services has the following guidance available for students, including information on apps such as Walk Safe and Street Safe: https://studentservices.lincoln.ac.uk/staying-safe/.

If you come across broken street lighting on campus, you can report it to the Support Desk via https://estates.lincoln.ac.uk/support-desk.
