The Laboratory Efficiency Assessment Framework scheme for lab sustainability has awarded its first Bronze level award to the Isaac Newton Building Engineering labs.

Technician Natalie Evans and Technical Manager Dan Stones from the department were very proactive as the LEAF representatives in meeting the criteria necessary for the award and saved an impressive £10,021 in energy costs yearly and over 23 tonnes of Carbon Dioxide emissions per year from their actions.

This is the first step towards the goal of all labs across the University of Lincoln achieving Bronze in the 23-24 academic year and an important achievement in improving the sustainability of our laboratories.

Congratulations and amazing work!
