We will be giving the University Kitchen Garden a Spring spruce up this Friday 17 May through weeding, harvesting, digging and planting and need your help.
This week is National Mental Health Awareness Week with the theme of Movement: Moving more for our Mental Health
“Studies have found that the mental health benefits of gardening are extensive. Not only can regular gardening reduce mental health problems like depression and anxiety, but it can also reduce stress and combat high blood pressure, as well as improving overall physical fitness”.
We have two sessions running: 12.15pm – 1pm and 1.15pm – 2pm, so if you would like to come along then please email staffwellbeing@lincoln.ac.uk and confirm which session you would like to attend.
Please wear clothing you don’t mind getting a little dirty, we’ll provide the equipment.
