Time Team – The Return of a Ground-breaking TV Legend

For 20 years, Channel 4’s Time Team helped to popularise the field of archaeology, giving its viewers an insight into the history beneath their feet through exciting archaeological digs.

Join Carenza Lewis, star of Time Team and Lecturer at the University of Lincoln, for an evening digging into iconic moments from the show and to hear the inside story of the series’ recent return.

This event, which will take place in the iconic Lincoln Cathedral on 28 May at 7pm, is part of the Lincoln Festival of History, a city wide celebration of Lincoln’s fascinating history.

Speaking about the upcoming festival, Carenza Lewis said: “Lincoln has such a rich and well-known history, but its fascination goes beyond the great and the good and includes amazing but less familiar stories of resilience, rebellion and doing things differently. We hope it will open people’s eyes to new stories and new perspectives.”
