Law Professor delivers keynote to EU Gender Equality Commissiion

Professor Kim Barker of Lincoln Law School delivered the keynote address to a closed-door event exploring Effective Responses to Cyberviolence Against Women.

The high-level event was held in Brussels and hosted by the European Union’s Gender Equality Commission (GEC) and the Scientific Analysis and Advice on Gender Equality in the EU Network on Tuesday 18 June.

Kim’s keynote address – ‘Online Violence against Women: forms, spaces, tools, perpetrators, impact and the requirements for an effective response’ – explored the issues presented by specific forms of online and digitalised violence in its gendered forms.
