LIBS colleagues leading Special Issue: Contemporary Issues in Accounting, Finance and Governance: Towards Sustainability and SDGs.

This special issue explores the intersections between corporate governance, sustainability, and finance education with sustainability initiatives and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), including how the SDGs are addressed through operations, research and education. We welcome submissions that address a wide range of topics, including but not limited to:
• Boardrooms commitments to SDGs and sustainability.
• Financing strategies for achieving SDGs
• Social and environmental reporting.
• Big data analytics and financial reporting quality
• Financial reporting through extensible Business Reporting Language (XBRL)
• Nexus between Industry 4.0 and companies’ performance
• Building cross-cultural competence in accounting and finance classrooms.
• Big data and advanced analytics and blockchain implications.

Contributions can include original research articles, case studies, literature reviews, and conceptual papers. Submissions should offer innovative insights, practical implications, and theoretical advancements.

This special issue provides an excellent opportunity to showcase your research and contribute to the ongoing conversation on sustainability and governance and SDGs.
