LIBS Academic Represents University as Keynote Speaker
Fadi Alkaraan, Associate Professor of Accounting, Governance & Sustainability represented the University of Lincoln as keynote speaker at the 10th International Conference on Business and Technology (ICBT) hosted in Amman between 7 – 8 August 2024.
The ICBT Amman 2024 is organized by University of Jordan, the EuroMid Academy of Business and Technology, Turkey, in collaboration with Ahlia University, Bahrain, and several strategic partner universities. Through this conference, Fadi articulated the key contextual factors surrounding business innovation strategies and the pivotal role of Industry 4.0 Technologies as enablers for corporate transformation towards ESG performance and sustainability. His presentation sheds light on the radical innovation trajectories, product, process, organisational and marketing innovation. He shared insights about the influence of knowledge sharing and knowledge hiding on business innovation strategies, and shed lights on the outcomes of 10 years of business innovation within the UK context.
Also, last week (1 August), Fadi represented University of Lincoln on the board of the Financial Reporting Council (FRC) academic roundtable among other leading universities including Aston University, Alliance Manchester Business School, Nottingham University, Southampton Business School, Brunel University, University of Dundee, UCL School of Management, Durham University, University of Birmingham, Ulster University, Liverpool University.
Fadi is Visiting Professor of Accounting, Governance & Sustainability, EM Normandie Business School (AACSB, AMBA, and EQUIS) (Dubai) 2023-2024. Affiliate Professor (Research Fellowship Programme) at Gulf Finance Centre, Gulf University for Science & Technology (AACSB), Kuwait (2023-2024), Affiliate Professor at the Institute of Management Technology (IMT) Dubai, UAE (2022-2023).
