University of Lincoln lecturer deliveres a keynote speech at I-DSD Conference in Stockholm

Ms Lexi Breen, a Senior Lecturer in the School of Health Care Sciences, delivered a keynote speech on the importance of patient support organisations to the multidisciplinary team at the 11th I-DSD Symposium in Stockholm, Sweden in June this year, and a patient case study, illustrating a delay in treatment of over 20 years to the pre-conference postgraduate course on Disorders of Sexual Development (DSD) both events organised by the office of rare diseases at the University of Glasgow.

Lexi is an Intersex advocate and speaks regularly on the subject and is happy to provide sessions to other faculties and organisations.
