Volunteer at an Open Day

The next Open Days for the new recruitment cycle will take place on Sunday 6 October, Saturday 12 October, Saturday 9 November and Saturday 7 December.

These events are crucial recruitment activities that offer prospective Undergraduate and Postgraduate students the opportunity to explore the campus, learn more about the course they are interested in, and find out why the Lincoln experience makes our institution a great place to study. The Open Days are expected to bring around 9,000 guests and will run across the Brayford Pool campus.

Undergraduate Open Days include all Schools that offer programmes. Academic tutors from all Schools, along with Professional Services staff, will run talks and information stands, give tours, and offer guidance throughout the day.

To give our prospective students and their families the best Open Day experience possible we rely on the kind support of colleagues to help our Student Ambassadors at staff registration and information points. Everyone who assists on the day ensures the event runs smoothly, and colleagues from all areas of the University are asked to support where at all possible.

Roles include chatting to guests as they arrive and answering any questions they may have about Lincoln. If you can volunteer to help on one of the registration or information desks for the Open Days, at any time between 9am – 3pm please email the Student Recruitment Events and Conversion Team events@lincoln.ac.uk.
