Lithium Battery Amnesty
Colleagues are encouraged to dispose of their University-owned lithium batteries, in the lithium battery amnesty commencing on Friday 18 October for a week.
Effectively managing University waste is a legal requirement and lithium batteries are just one of our waste streams. Once used, lithium batteries need to be disposed of correctly.
If you have any run-out lithium batteries, you can find out how to dispose of them safely while protecting the environment: https://estates.blogs.lincoln.ac.uk/lithium.
Please note, this is for University-owned batteries only, not personal/batteries from home.
Please send any queries to: environment@lincoln.ac.uk.
