Karl Dayson takes up new post as PVC Research, Knowledge Exchange, and Global Engagement

Karl Dayson will take up a new post as Pro Vice Chancellor Research, Knowledge Exchange, and Global Engagement.

In his new role Karl will work to increase the University’s international profile and will be responsible for overseeing the University’s international activity, including identifying markets for student recruitment, creating and growing partnerships, and representing the University on any regional, national or international sector bodies and at events.

The responsibility for internationalisation of the curriculum will stay with the Heads of College and relevant academic committees, whilst International Student Recruitment activities, the Turing Scheme, and the International College will remain within their current management structures.

In due course Karl will create an international committee structure and/or team which will draw together all aspects of internationalisation to ensure our activities remain aligned.
