Safeguarding Children and Adults at Risk – Tuesday 10 December – 11am – 2pm – Brayford Campus
The aim of this workshop is to introduce colleagues to both the Safeguarding Children and Vulnerable Adults Policy and the Student Mental Health Policy, and explain their significance.
On completion of this workshop, staff will understand more about the University policies and where to find them.
Colleagues will understand their responsibilities under the policies, the responsibilities of the University, know how they can help protect and support children and vulnerable adults, and to signpost students to relevant services, think more about their professional boundaries and explore further training available.
