Lincoln Academics leading developments in research on gambling harm

Professor Amanda Roberts (School of Psychology) and Dr Jim Rogers (Visting Senior Fellow) are co chairs of the Academic Forum for the Study of Gambling, which is becoming the leading voice in the UK for independent academic research on the subject of gambling and gambling related harm. The AFSG welcomes new announcements from the government, confirming the introduction of a statutory levy on the gambling industry, to provide £100 million per annum for research, education and treatment. On the same subject they are about to have a letter published on the subject in Addiction – the leading journal in the filed of Addiction studies.
