Lincoln research informs United Nations academic freedom report

 posted by | 10/12/2024

Research from the School of Education and Communication colleagues – Chavan Kissoon and Terence Karran – influenced the recent ‘Report of the Special Rapporteur on the right to education’ to the United Nations Human Rights Council.

Lincoln-conducted work is cited several times in the final report, and influenced a number of the report’s recommendations in relation to:

– Conditions of work impeding a conducive environment for academic freedom
– Digitalisation of education and academic freedom
