 posted by | 16/12/2024

We are thrilled to announce that following the incredible feedback we have received from our first wave of pilot heart health checks, we will be offering further clinics in January 2025.

This confidential mini heart health check (normally valued at £160) includes a comprehensive evaluation of your cardiovascular health:

– Blood pressure
– Cholesterol
– Glucose
– Body Mass Index (BMI)
– Waist to hip circumference
– Mini ECG screen* (for atrial fibrillation, tachycardia & bradycardia, subject to eligibility*)
– Physical activity assessment report
– Cardiovascular risk factor score

At the end of your check, you will have the opportunity to discuss your results with a trained specialist, who can provide further guidance and support.

The clinics will take place on Tuesday 7 January 2025 at the Brayford Campus and Friday 10 January 2025 at the Lawress Hall site.

How to book: You can now book and manage your appointment using the Health and Wellbeing Screening booking page by clicking here: https://outlook.office365.com/book/DepartmentofPeoplePerformanceCultureHealthScreening@universityoflincoln.onmicrosoft.com/

The Department of People, Performance and Culture have partnered with the School of Psychology, Sport Science & Wellbeing to offer these free annual heart health check-ups for University colleagues and this pilot scheme initially ran over several clinics during October at both Brayford and Riseholme campus.

Take advantage of this fantastic opportunity to stay on top of your heart health and ensure your well-being!
