University Open Day | 23rd Sep

The next University open day will take place on Saturday 23rd September. 

Open days are a crucial recruitment activity that not only offer prospective students the opportunity to explore the campus and find out more about the course they are interested in, but also the chance to find out about the Lincoln experience and what makes us so great.

Our Open Days give visitors the opportunity to find out more about the University and help them to decide whether Lincoln is the right choice for them. They are packed with opportunities for people to see a range of facilities, meet staff and students, and experience the atmosphere of the University of Lincoln.

They are a great way to find out more about the campuses, our locations and the degree programmes on offer. These events are informative and varied, and include subject presentations, tours of the campus and student accommodation, general presentations on all aspects of student life, including Finance, Accommodation and an Introduction to the University, and Information Stands – Informally talk to lecturers in your chosen subject and meet representatives from a range of support services.

Staff Volunteers Needed

Staff are invited to help register our guests when they arrive, speak to potential students and their families about the University and Lincoln, and assist with the general smooth running of the events.

Open days will run on the following dates:

Saturday 23rd September

Saturday 7th October

Saturday 21st October

Saturday 11th November

Saturday 25th November

Wednesday 13th December

These dates are for University-wide open days aimed at September 2018 recruitment (although we also anticipate welcoming visitors interested in September 2017 and September 2019 starts). Offer holder days, clearing open days, postgraduate taster days and other related events are being organised in addition to these.

Each open day will run across the campus and include every School offering undergraduate programmes. Academic tutors and professional services staff will run talks and information stands, with our combined purpose being to encourage young people to make or confirm applications to study one of our courses.
