We are pleased to announce the University Gym has joined the BUCS UNIversal Gym Membership scheme.

A number of the BUCS Member Universities have joined together to offer their student members the opportunity to use/join another BUCS member gym in their area, either temporarily during vacation periods or permanently after graduation. The focus of this offer is to keep active people active, increasing the likelihood that active students continue with their exercise out of term time, rather than stopping during periods when they are not based at their host institution. This scheme is open to student and staff members.

There are currently 62 different facility locations available across 51 Higher Education Institutions.

• Members will receive a UNIversal Gym Membership card once they have signed up as a full gym member with peak access at their University of study or work.

• If you are visiting another University facility, take your UNIversal Gym Membership card and student or staff ID card with you. You need both to use the gym.

• Before visiting any facility please check if there are any restrictions in place by calling them directly. For example, you may not be able to use another University facility that is in close proximity to your own University.

If you are a current term-time or annual member of the gym at Lincoln and would like to use another University facility, simply call into the Sports Centre reception to collect you UNIversal gym membership card.
