This workshop presents an overview of what having a Tier 4 Sponsorship Licence means to the University, and the compliance responsibilities we all have as a consequence.

Delegates will look at what they need to do in order to ensure that we comply with the Home Office requirements, and that the University can continue to recruit and sponsor overseas students to study at Lincoln in the future.

By the end of the session, you will have a raised awareness of the responsibilities the University has, and the compliance duties we must abide by according to the Home Office. This will also include areas such as:
• Attendance monitoring and attendance meetings
• Authorised absence requests / Interruption of study
• Completing earlier than expected / final submission
• Student work placements
• Writing up thesis stage for PGT students
• Q&As

This session is aimed at all academics and support staff in Schools that have contact with overseas students on taught programmes. There are no other prerequisites.

The next available session is Wednesday 7th March. To book a place, please click on the link below and select ‘Tier 4 Visa Compliance Workshop’: https://ps.lincoln.ac.uk/services/hr/development/BookProgrammes/SitePages/Home.aspx
