Flu Vaccinations 2019 – Last Remaining Spaces
Staff are being offered the opportunity to receive a free flu vaccination in support of their health and wellbeing through the flu season.
Due to high demand, spaces are filling up quickly. Please enquire about availability soon to avoid disappointment. Staff wishing to take advantage and participate in this year’s programme are asked to visit https://lncn.ac/flu and follow the instructions on using the booking system.
The remaining dates and times available to staff are as follows:
Tuesday 15th October: between 10:00 – 12:15
Wednesday 16th October: between 14:30 – 17:15
Thursday 17th October: between 09:00 – 12:15
After requesting a timeslot, a member of the Staff Wellbeing team will then shortly contact you to confirm your details and appointment booking, or negotiate a new timeslot booking. Please note that appointments will be offered on a first come, first served basis.
Although the actual appointment itself is expected to only take a few minutes, we anticipate the time required for a staff member to attend and receive their vaccine to be within a 30 minute window, and staff are advised to liaise with their line manager about any operational cover and support that may be required to enable colleagues who wish to take up this benefit.
**Please note: if you have already been offered a free flu vaccination through the Primary Healthcare Service (i.e. due to pregnancy, diabetes, aged over 65, low immunity or heart/liver disease), you must continue with this medical support provision and not take up this workplace programme.
