Participants needed for a gambling eye-tracking study

 posted by | 19/11/2019

Researchers are looking for males and females, aged 25 and above, to take part in an eye-tracking study.

In this study, we would like to know where people look when watching video clips depicting gambling and non-gambling adverts. The video clips will be shown on a flat computer screen. The accuracy of your responses and eye movements will be measured online using the eye-tracker software. After watching the video clips you will be asked to complete a set of questionnaires. The study will take around 45 minutes in total you will be paid £10 upon completion of the study.

The study will consist of one session and take place in the Sarah Swift Building.

The eye tracker cannot cope with glasses, so we would like to ask you to volunteer only when you can perform day-to-day tasks without glasses (contact lenses are no problem). If possible, please do not wear mascara.

This study has received a favourable ethical approval by a University Research Ethics Committee (Ethics Reference 2019-0650) in accordance with the Guidelines for Research Recruitment Materials [Version 5, 01/07/19].
