Understanding Our Unconscious Bias for Professional Services Staff – Mandatory Training

Join our external partner, Laurence Harvey, for a 2-hour online training session on Understanding our Unconscious Bias. Please note that this is a mandatory session for any Professional Services staff who haven’t yet completed this training.

Sessions running:
– Monday 27th July @ 10:00 – 12:00 and 14:00 – 16:00
– Friday 31st July @ 10:00 – 12:00 and 14:00 – 16:00
– Friday 11th September @ 10:00 – 12:00 and 14:00 – 16:00

This is a thought-provoking, enlightening, interesting and challenging workshop that provides delegates with the opportunity for honest self-reflection in a safe environment. Delegates take time to reflect on what has and still does influence their thoughts, values and opinions.

Through this experiential session the following topics will be covered:
– Define unconscious bias
– Explain how unconscious bias affects our decision-making
– Explain the adverse impact unconscious bias has, both on individuals and organisations
– Detect and describe their own biases
– Reduce incidents of unfair treatment in the workplace
– Recognise how different peoples life experiences, upbringings, cultures, backgrounds and Protected Characteristics affect what we think and how we behave.
