Performance and Development Reviews (PDRs)

The PDR scheme is the appraisal scheme for Professional Service Staff once they have passed probation and is now available for the 2022-2023 cycle.

The PDR handbook is available for both reviewers and reviewees around the principles, process, responsibilities and top tips. This can be found on the PDR site in the top right corner in the ‘help’ icon. Staff should visit the PDR site and start a new form for 2022-2023 which will include their reflections of last year and drafting objectives for the new year. Please ensure your PDR meeting is booked into the diary with your manager/supervisor in advance of the deadline which is Friday 30th September 2022.

Annual Academic Planning Review (AAPR)

The AAPR is for academic and research staff and provides a framework through which achievements may be recognised, priorities and objectives set for the forthcoming year and further development planned, to the mutual benefit of individual and the University. The AAPR Scheme is now available and staff should have received an email from their Head of School with the relevant information and confirmed timescales for completion. Staff can access the AAPR site using the link below:
