Inspire Leadership Development Programme

posted by Amber Gumm | 24/08/2022

We would like to invite expressions of interest for the Inspire programme, in readiness for our 2022/2023 new academic year development offering.

Inspire is a leadership development programme which aims to help colleagues from minority ethnic backgrounds realise their potential and support them in taking that next step towards their career goals.

It is designed to support participants currently working at grade 6 or above (academic and professional services) with their leadership skills to develop their career opportunities, whilst providing the university with outstanding, inclusive leaders of the future who can influence change within the wider HE sector. All delegates will be offered a mentor after they have completed the programme.

The virtual programme covers the following six modules.

Module 1: Understanding Yourself

Module 2: Understanding the Organisation

Module 3: Building Powerful Relationships

Module 4: Speaking with Confidence

Module 5: Becoming a Powerhouse at Meetings

Module 6: Leaders of the Future

To register your expression of interest please visit MyView and from the left-hand menu please select ‘My Training & Development’ ‘Development Forms’ and ‘Inspire Nomination Form.’
