Celebrating Sustainable Development Goals
Join us in Celebrating our Amazing Research Contributions to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, which will take place on Wednesday 22 May, in the Medical School atrium and LMS0008.
We are delighted to share that staff and students are invited to an event to celebrate our significant research contributions to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. Research students are strongly encouraged to come along and share a poster on their work.
Keynote speaker Professor Ananda Breed will discuss the inspirational Mobile Arts for Peace project entitled Mobile Arts for Peace (MAP): Informing the National Curriculum and Youth Policy for Peacebuilding in Kyrgyzstan, Rwanda, Indonesia, and Nepal– https://map.lincoln.ac.uk) (Funded by the Arts and Humanities Research Council and the Global Challenges Research Fund)
This will be followed by talks from colleagues from across the University describing how their research has contributed to the SDGs. There will be plenty of opportunity for discussion and debate as well as a poster session where research students can share their research relevant to the SDGs. We will round off the day with a round table on creating SDG impact.
You can register to attend this free event via the following link: Sustainable Development Goals Conference.

We are unable to provide lunch, but will supply tea and coffee making facilities (with plenty of tea bags and coffee) and lots of biscuits. Please bring your own lunch (or purchase it from the nearby INB cafeteria) and a mug for your hot drinks.
