University of Lincoln lecturer presenting at the world’s first academic Warhammer Conference
Between Friday 27 and Saturday 28 September, the world’s first academic conference dedicated to the world of Warhammer is taking place.
Facilitated between the University of Heidelberg and the University of Lancaster, over 60 speakers will be presenting a variety of topics based around the Games Workshop’s gaming platform, books and audio dramas, with abstracts and information regarding online (or in person at Heidelberg) attendance available at https://warhammer-conference.com/.
University of Lincoln’s Associate Professor of Creative Writing, Dr Chris Dows, will be discussing the role of intertextuality within the 40K universe and the challenges it poses to a writer, drawing on his varied Black Library Press publications and encompassing various other major SF franchises.
