The 2024/25 Training and Development Programme offers a diverse range of workshops designed to enhance the skills and knowledge of Colleagues across all campuses.

Sessions are scheduled to align with the shuttle bus timings as much as possible for ease of access, however, please remember Lawress Hall has ample workspace, ensuring you can work before or following any sessions, with access to the café or kitchen pods for your comfort breaks.

The October workshops cover critical topics such as Prevent, interview skills, and understanding Autism and ADHD, with expert facilitators leading the sessions. These workshops not only aim to inform but also to empower participants with practical skills and strategies applicable in their professional roles. It’s an excellent opportunity for staff to engage in continuous professional development and to network with peers from different departments.

As hybrid working continues, we have developed the online platform to meet the diverse learning needs of colleagues wishing to enhance their development across the University.

You can look forward to a variety of new and innovative courses launching soon, with bitesize sessions to offer a more accessible and flexible experience.
