The University of Lincoln is proud to be part of the East Midlands Hub for FameLab International —the largest public-facing science communication competition and training programme in the world!
Created by Cheltenham Festivals in 2005, this world-leading science communication competition discovers, trains, and promotes the best new voices in science, technology, and engineering (including social sciences). FameLab has been held in over 30 countries, in partnership with more than 200 local organisations. This vibrant global network has brought together over 40,000 scientists and engineers, inspiring international audiences.
Who can apply?
– Researchers
– Postgraduate Students
– Lecturers in Science
– Industry or Business Professionals
– Science Practitioners (e.g., patent clerks, statisticians, computer technicians, industry consultants)
– Armed Forces or Government Employees (applying science, social sciences, technology, engineering, or mathematics)
This is your chance to share your work with a global audience! The initial application form is quick and easy—if you’re interested, register your interest by Sunday 5 January 2025. We’ll also host applicant guidance and training sessions in February to support your submission.
