Ethics drop-in sessions now available

The University is committed to encouraging research of the highest quality by supporting good conduct and helping to prevent misconduct, aiming to uphold the commitments outlined in the UUK Concordat to support Research Integrity, which provide a comprehensive national framework for good research conduct and its governance.

From Monday 25 November to Friday 6 December, the University’s Ethics team are running a series of drop-in sessions to hear academic and student insight on how they would like a new ethics system and process to look like.

Over the last six months, the team have been reviewing systems and processes, collaborating with digital services and a wide range of stakeholders to produce a full system map of current processes. They’ve reviewed how student ethics requests are processed, aiming to reduce workload while maintaining the integrity of the process and learning value it adds.

In order for the team to manage the priority of these system changes, your valuable feedback will help the team to implement these updates in the new year.

There are a range of timeslots available throughout the course of the sessions and you can book your place online: https://outlook.office.com/book/EthicsReviewHowMightWe@universityoflincoln.onmicrosoft.com
