University Teaching & Learning Showcase 2025: Securing Student Success
The University’s second annual Teaching & Learning Showcase event will take place on Wednesday 17 September 2025, on the Brayford Campus.
This year’s theme, ‘Securing Student Success’, reflects the evolving landscape of UK higher education. With increasing financial pressures, a changing student demographic, and new regulatory frameworks, universities are having to rethink how they deliver teaching and support learning. The 2025/26 Showcase will explore how we are responding to these sector-wide challenges and how the Teaching, Learning and Student Experience Delivery Plan supports the University’s strategic ambition.
We invite colleagues from both academic and Professional Services areas to attend. The event offers a valuable opportunity to explore how the wider HE context of higher education shapes our work and how teaching and learning at Lincoln is evolving in response.
Showcase format
The in-person event will begin with a keynote from Professor Abigail Moriarty, Pro Vice Chancellor Education and Students, who will outline how the delivery plan brings our strategy to life and highlight key priorities for the year ahead.
The morning will consist of parallel streams of 30-minute sessions, sharing updates on key strategic projects across the teaching and learning community. Over lunch, participants will have the opportunity to network and explore a poster exhibition showcasing innovative practice by staff and students from across the University. In the afternoon, workshops will provide tools and insights to support and enhance current delivery approaches.
Interested in showcasing your practice?
We invite all staff and students to submit proposals for the poster exhibition. This is a great opportunity to share your work and initiatives with colleagues from across the University. Submit your proposal by Monday 14 July 2025 via this link: https://forms.office.com/e/TCGkBkTsW8
