Technician Exhibition: The impact of technicians (TechLinc)
Join us for the Technician Exhibition on Wednesday 10 September from 12.30pm to 4pm in the Isaac Newton Building Atrium.
Centred around the theme ‘The Impact of Technicians’, this exciting event will showcase a wide range of posters and displays created by technicians from across the University of Lincoln, highlighting their vital contributions to research, teaching, and innovation. The exhibition proudly reflects the four key values of the Technician Commitment—visibility, recognition, career development, and sustainability.
In addition to the exhibition, there will be talks from Abigail Moriarty (Pro Vice Chancellor), Kay Ritchie (Director of Lincoln Policy Hub) and Simon George (Technical Manager), offering valuable perspectives on the diverse and evolving role of technical staff. We are also pleased to welcome technicians from Lincoln College as honorary guests, further strengthening the connections within our technical community.
The event offers a fantastic opportunity for academics and technicians to connect and collaborate across schools and disciplines, building partnerships and fostering a more integrated university community. Don’t miss this chance to celebrate and engage with our incredible technical community!
