CIPD Lincolnshire Well-being Conference
- Date : Wednesday 6Â July 2016
- Venue: Petwood Hotel Woodhall Spa, Lincolnshire LN10 6QG
Conference details:
The latest CIPD Annual Absence Management Survey found that stress is the major cause of long-term sickness absence from work, and further CIPD research shows evidence of a positive link between well-being programmes and improved business performance . Edenred’s Well-being Barometer also found that while 97% of employers believe in the link between well-being and performance, less than a third of them actually see employee well-being as a business priority.
What is it that prevents employers from putting well-being at the core of the business? How can HR professionals become the key enablers of healthier and more productive work environments? How do we encourage employers to balance a reactive approach to absences with proactive action to minimise the causes?
At the CIPD Lincolnshire Well-being Conference, you will get ideas on how to embed a holistic health and well-being approach that fits your organisation’s strategy and hear practical case studies on how HR can take the lead in improving employee well-being and develop a productive culture at work.
