Games Computing guest lecture – Steve Humphries

Low-level tech programming: anything is possible in the blink of an eye

Tuesday 19 April, 13:00-14:00, AAD1W11 Lecture Theatre (Art, Architecture and Design)

Steve Humphries was Principal Programmer at Evolution Studios, which has just been absorbed into Codemasters. Steve has worked on Games including Driveclub (PS4) (October 2014); MotorStorm: Apocalypse (PS3) (March 2011); MotorStorm: Pacific Rift (PS3) (November 2008); and Isle of Man TT Superbikes (Playstation2) (2005).

His guest lecture at the University of Lincoln will show how valuable a deep understanding of Computer Science is to Games (and vice versa), and may be interesting to anyone keen to know how video games are built.

The lecture is free to attend and open to all.
