International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia, Intersex-phobia and Transphobia (IDAHOBIT)
32 years ago – on 17 May 1990 – the World Health Organization removed homosexuality from the classification of diseases and related health problems.
International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia, Intersex-phobia & Transphobia (IDAHOBIT) celebrates LGBTQIA+ people globally, and acts to raise awareness for the work still needed.
The University’s LGBTQIA+ Staff Support Group are holding an event on:
Tuesday 17 May

There will be a presentation on the ‘Lived experience of being LGBTQIA+ in the University, the UK and the world’.
Light refreshments and nibbles will be served.
