Lincoln historian features in current LGBT+ debate
Dr Chiara Beccalossi (School of History and Heritage, University of Lincoln) and Dr Kate Davison (Goldsmiths University of London) recently engaged with a much-debated and highly charged political topic when they had the opportunity to speak with PinkNews about the history of conversion therapy among LGBTQ+ people. While Canada and France have recently banned conversion therapy for LGBTQ+ people, it is still legal in the UK, although the subject of current debate in the UK.
