Opportunities for Staff and Students to Become Microsoft Office Certified!
Digital Education have a number of Microsoft Specialist exams that are available for staff and students to purchase at £10 per exam through the University Shop.
Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) certification is for those looking to demonstrate proficiency in one or more Office programs and can help students differentiate themselves in today’s competitive job market.
After passing a Microsoft Office examination, students will receive a Digital Badge, that can be added to their CVs and LinkedIn profiles, and a digital certificate which will prove that you have passed your certification in your chosen software.
Exams are completed online; staff and students are encouraged to download the latest version of Google Chrome to take part in an exam.
In addition to purchasing an examination seat, you will also be provided with access to training materials (through LinkedIn Learning) as well as mock practice examinations in a simulated environment similar to that of the actual exam (though the GMetrix platform).
Microsoft Office Specialist certification is available for a range of Office 365 programmes including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Staff are encouraged to circulate the opportunity to their students, as it is offered at a 90% discount of the standard price.
