We are looking for people over the age of 18 with chronic pain in their fingers or hand(s) to take part in a study investigating the potential therapeutic effects of visually induced bodily illusions, using augmented reality. The procedures are painless and non-invasive.

Information will be kept confidential and anonymous. Participants can withdraw at any time, without having to give a reason, and data can be withdrawn for up to two weeks.

Participants will be compensated for their time with an inconvenience allowance of £6 per hour, and sessions will not last more than 2 hours.

Please be aware that this is an experimental investigation rather than a clinical trial, so unfortunately these procedures do not constitute any form of treatment.

For more information or to take part, please contact Dr Kirsten McKenzie on kmckenzie@lincoln.ac.uk, or 01522 886719.

Your participation will be much appreciated!

All procedures have been approved by the School of Psychology Research Ethics Committee (soprec@lincoln.ac.uk).
