This month’s topic The Art of Asking will be hosted by TEDxBrayfordPool curator Andy Farenden and will explore asking for help as a strength that builds community.

It will take place at 7pm on Saturday 28th April at Lincoln Drill Hall.

This month as an extension to the co-curation experience we’re going to do something a little different to push things a little further.

We’re honoured that we can help “re-engineer the way businesses think” and to facilitate “conversations with people who may not have crossed paths in the community” (March TED Post Event Survey).

Our salons are building a community with an incredibly diverse skill set. Including theatre practitioners, radio journalists, event managers, designers, learning innovators, fundraisers, coaches and social entrepreneurs. We know that around each table sits a wealth of knowledge and experience, and we’d like to encourage you to tap into it.

So, we’d like to turn the floor over to you to offer you the chance to ask the room for help and offer help in return. We’ll open the floor and give a minute or two to anyone who’d like to ask a question, ask for help with a project or even just to introduce themselves to offer help.

Tickets include pizza and drinks. Please let us know if you have any dietary requirements when you book your tickets.
