Which Dog-Owner Activities Affect Owners’ Mental Health?

posted by Amber Gumm | 15/11/2021

Researchers from the University of Lincoln are investigating which dog-owner activities are associated with dog owners’ mental health. For example, are dog walking and cuddling the dog beneficial against anxiety? What about dog barking?

Dog owners from all countries are being invited to answer a 20-30 min survey that will help answer these questions and, hopefully, improve the quality of life of dog owners in the future. The questionnaire is available in four languages: English, Spanish, Portuguese and German. Feel free to share it with your friends.

The link to answer the survey is: https://lncn.ac/dogowner

If you have any questions, please contact the main researcher Ana Maria Barcelos via e-mail (abarcelos@lincoln.ac.uk).
