Postgraduate Taught Experience Survey (PTES) 2023

 posted by | 17/04/2023

Dear Colleagues,

The Postgraduate Taught Experience Survey (PTES) will launch at the University of Lincoln on Monday 17th April and will run until Friday 16th June 2023.

PTES is a national online survey, co-ordinated by AdvanceHE and it provides an opportunity for postgraduate taught students to feedback on their experience in a range of topics including teaching and learning, engagement, assessment and feedback, organisation and management, resources and services and skills development.

For the first time this year, we have included institutional questions to find out more about our postgraduate taught students’ experience of a range of campus and online services.

On the 17th April, enrolled postgraduate taught students will receive an email invitation from the Jisc Online surveys system containing a direct link to the survey which should only take around 15 minutes to complete.

This year we will also host an on-campus campaign, with a voluntary space for postgraduate taught students to complete the survey.  This will run from 17th April for three weeks in the Global Lounge, ground floor of the David Chiddick Building, where postgraduate taught students can complete the survey and receive a free drink and treat voucher during the on-campus campaign. Opening times: Mon, Tue, Thurs & Fri: 10am-4pm // Wed: 1pm-4pm.

The survey closes on 16th June and the results from this survey will be made available via the university dashboards early in the summer.

A copy of the question set can be found here: PTES 2023 Question Set

Please do encourage your postgraduate taught students to support this initiative and give their feedback.

Thank you,
Claire Randerson
